William John Lemmon's Obituary
Mr. William John "Bill" Lemmon, age 67, of Marshville, North Carolina, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014, at his residence.
Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Bill Lemmon will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 23, 2014, at Austin Grove Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Leon Whitley.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Lemmon was born on January 17, 1947, in New Albany, Indiana, a son of the late Melvin Issac Lemmon and Patsy Louise James Lemmon.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam conflict and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
Survivors include his brother Melvin Gene Lemmon and wife Nelda of Monroe, NC; two nephews Stacey Eugene Lemmon of Marshville, NC, and Melvin Eric Lemmon (Crystal) of Monroe, NC; and two special nieces Angie Lemmon Shaffer and husband Jeff of Unionville, NC, and Tammy Yow and husband Marty of Monroe, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe, 1003 East Franklin Street.
