William Clay Ingram's Obituary
William Clay Ingram, 97, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday July 21, 2020 at Trinity Place. There will be a Celebration of Life service held at a later date for Mr. Ingram.
Clay was born July 13, 1923 in Stanly County, NC and was the son of the late William C. Ingram and Ida Russell Ingram. He was a retired employee of Wiscassett Mill Company. Mr. Ingram was a member of Anderson Grove Baptist Church. He never met a stranger and he loved his family, including all those around him.
Mr. Ingram is preceded in death by his first wife, Mollie Huneycutt Ingram and his second wife, Daisy Hathcock Ingram and a grandson, Jimmy Arey. He is survived by a daughter, Brenda I. Boone of Salisbury, NC; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; twenty great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Ingram family.
