Mr. William ?Bill? Brown, age 69 of Albemarle, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at his home.?? His service will be on Tuesday, August?23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church, Albemarle, NC with Dr. Andy?Jung officiating. ?Burial will follow in the Stanly Gardens of Memory, Albemarle, NC.?The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening, Aug. 22, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Mr. Brown was born on June 30, 1947 in Akron, Ohio to the late William and Eloise? Royle Brown and was a graduate of Ellet High School. He was a retired employee of BF Goodrich and Michelin Aircraft Tire with 40 years of service.? He was a former volunteer fireman and Commissioner of Athletics in Green, Ohio. He and his family moved to?North Carolina in 1986.? He enjoyed golf, fishing, and woodworking.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Ross.? Survivors include his loving and dedicated wife of 48 years, Connie;? sons, Rob (Jen), Jeff (Betty), Brian (Sandy) and Daniel (Christy)Brown all of Albemarle, NC and twelve grandchildren;? Hannah, Hailey, Caroline, Amber, Julia, Logan, Nathan, Nicholas, Hayden, Keely, Emma, and Ellen.
