Will Tom Dennis of Albemarle, NC passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at his home.?His service will be at 2:00 PM Friday, June 24, 2016 in the Anderson Grove Baptist Church, Albemarle, NC with the Rev. Ron Honeycutt officiating.? Burial will follow?in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Mr. Dennis was born on December 12, 1935 in Stanly County, NC to the late Charlie?Martin Dennis and Henrietta Morton Dennis and was a former self employed concrete?finisher.? He retired from Southeastern Component as Plant Manager.? He was a life?long member of Anderson Grove Baptist Church for 80 years.? He loved to camp,?hunt, fish and work in his garden.? He was a regular attendant of his children and grandchildren sports activities.? He was a Deacon, Sunday School teacher and was?very active in his church.
He was married to Peggy Lou Ritchie Dennis of the home.? He was preceded in death?by two sisters and eight brothers.? Survivors include one son; Tim Dennis and wife?Carol of Albemarle, NC, two sisters; Ellen Tabor of Winston-Salem, NC, Florence Frick?of High Point, NC, four grandchildren; Morgan Dennis, Lindsey Dennis, Weston Dennis,?Ally Dennis.
