Julie Christensen
Wendy and I met when we were 14 years old. She was the new girl in one of my classes and she sat behind me. It was an instantaneous friendship. We lived on the same street and we would walk to school together. We would hang out everyday. She was part of our family. Throughout the years, we would keep in touch or get together depending where we were. The longest time that we were separated with no communication was 5 years. I moved to Arkansas while she was in California. It was a bummer. When she moved to NC, we continued with our friendship and we even took a trip to New Orleans after my first son was born. We had a blast. We continued with our friendship up until March 23, 2024. Wendy was an old soul. She was kind and caring with a great sense of humor. She was beautiful.
