Wayne Gene Morgan, 74, a resident of Trinity Place in Albemarle, NC, entered his eternal home on June 30, 2016 at 6:35 AM surrounded by his family and friends.? He was born on July 18, 1941 to the late Hugh and Ella Morgan of Concord, NC.? Wayne is survived by his brother Hubert Morgan and wife Linda of Albemarle, NC, two nieces Sheree Morgan of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Lori Moss and Husband Toby and great niece Morgan Moss of Albemarle.
A service in his honor will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Walters officiating.? Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Mint Hill, NC.? The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care from 2 until 3 PM prior to the chapel service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Stanly Uwharrie at 960 N. First St., Albemarle, NC 28001 or to Trinity Place at 24724 Hwy. 52 South. Albemarle, NC 28001.
