Watt Claude Almond, Jr. of Albemarle, NC passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 in the Carolinas Continue Care Hospital, Charlotte, NC.? His service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, September 1, 2016 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel, Albemarle, NC with
the Rev. Ronnie Sides and Rev. Mitchell Smith.? The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM prior to the hour of the service.
Mr. Almond was born October 13, 1964 in Stanly County, NC to the late Watt Claude?Almond and Gladys Elmer Hatley Almond.
Survivors include one brother, Bobby Ray Almond of Albemarle, NC, two sisters, Connie Harris of Albemarle, NC and Judy Ann Brown of Ellerbe, NC.? One brother,?Larry Wayne Almond preceded him in death and one sister, Brenda Faye Almond also?preceded him in death.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care, c/o Watt Almond, Jr. Account.
