Wanda Roberts Stamper's Obituary
Wanda Roberts Stamper, 68, of Albemarle passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023 in her home. Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral service which will be at 11 AM on Thursday, June 22, 2023 Poplin Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Carlisle officiating. A private burial will be held at Stanly Gardens of Memory.
Born June 21, 1954 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Palmer R. Roberts and Wilma McDaniel Roberts. She was a faithful member of Poplins Grove Baptist Church and retired from Atrium Health Stanly. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved watching Atlanta Braves games. Mrs. Stamper also loved to travel to the mountains.
She is survived by her husband Ronnie Stamper, daughters Amanda Stamper Jenkins (Jerry) of Stanfield and Jennifer Stamper Speights (Chase) of Locust, sister Pamela Lambert (Darrell) of Albemarle, brother Michael Roberts of Evans, GA, four grandchildren Journey Speights, Kendall Jenkins, Jett Speights, Sadie Jenkins.
