Wanda Gail Hathcock's Obituary
Wanda Gail Williams Hathcock, 77, of Albemarle passed away August 13, 2021 at her daughters home. Her funeral will be at 2 PM on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen Smith and Rev. Ronnie Pugh officiating. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle.
Born April 5, 1944 in Union County, NC she was the daughter of the late Robert Fitzhugh Williams and Carrie Jane Drye Williams. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and was a retired beautician.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years Raeford Michael Hathcock of the home, daughter Michelle Rader (Alan) of Albemarle, sisters Shirley Elizabeth Williams of Albemarle, Marie Williams Boger (Mike) of Albemarle, Mabel Jean Lowder of Elmwood, TN, Linda Kay Spear (Sam) of Charlotte, brother Kenneth Wayne Williams of Albemarle, and grandchildren Maris and Owen.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters Connie Suzanne Gilbert, Gwendolyn Virginia Williams, and Patsy Louise Howell and by a brother James Fred Williams.
