Saddened by the loss of Mr. Walter as I've heard him called for years. He leaves behind a loving family and many friends who all loved him as either a husband, father, grandfather, uncle or friend. I know that Bernice and Granny probably met him at those pearly gates and are still talking as they gladly show him around heaven. God bless the family and may Mr. Walters love of the church and each of you provide you strength in the coming days and months as you mourn your loss.Wish deepest condolences, David Craig - Long Hope Road

I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death. Hope these words give you a new hope.
Blessings you to all the Starnes family. This man, Walter, believed in God and knew God could DO what he couldn't: save Walter Starnes! May he rest now with God, since his labor is finished on this earth. And may we who remain, believe in the Savior's redemption for us all.
The Staff of Davis Funeral Home and Cremation Service sends our condolences to the family during their time of sorrow.
