Virginia Carol Haigler's Obituary
Mrs. Virginia Carol Haigler, age 70, of Monroe, NC, passed away Tuesday morning, October 11, 2016, at her residence.
Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, October 14, 2016, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC, 28112, officiated by Reverend Frank Crump and Reverend Don Thompson. Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Haigler was born on January 24, 1946, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late George W. Medlin and the late Daisy Price Medlin. She worked at Charlotte Plastics for 17 years in packing and shipping, and was also a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Cleamon Haigler of Monroe, NC; her five sons, Kenneth Deese and wife Jane Deese of Monroe, Lee Deese of Monroe, NC, Johnny Deese of Greer, SC, Stephen Dwayne Deese and fiancé Angela Hinson of Wingate, NC and Hayne Haigler of Monroe; her daughter Lisa Honeycutt and husband Robert Honeycutt of Monroe, NC; two brothers, Kemp Medlin and wife Mable Medlin of Buford, SC and Larry Medlin and wife Wanda Medlin of Monroe; two sisters, Rosa Deese of Monroe and Ruby Wiles and husband Harvey Wiles of Indian Trail; there are nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 13, 2016, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home.
