A woman of deep faith, Vickie was a dedicated member of New Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School for more than 28 years. She served the church in numerous roles, including church board member, coordinator, and past member of the United Methodist Women. Her passion for service extended into the community; she was a former FCA advisor at Pfeiffer University, was active with ARC, and served as a trustee and board member at Christ the King Christian Academy.
Vickie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished time spent outdoors, especially turkey hunting and fishing at her pond. She loved flowers and gardening, enjoyed quilting, and found great joy in cooking for her family. Above all, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and lived out her faith daily in the way she cared for others.
