Vera Sigers' Obituary
Mrs. Vera Sigers, age 81, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Hospice of Union County.
Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112.
Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Sigers was born on February 29, 1936, in Friesack, Germany, a daughter of the late Fritz Mielke and Johanna Kopischke Mielke.
Survivors include her husband Freddie Lee Sigers of Monroe, NC; her daughter Ute Robinson of Monroe, NC; her son Klaus Mielke of Worathal, Germany; and her six nieces and nephews all of Germany.
