We loved Van so much. His sense of humor, his wit, his compassion and that smile put him so far above others. His concern and love for all he met was amazing. Will miss him so much but have such wonderful memories of him. RIP dear friend. Love Mary & Mike Mosley

Vann was a kind man, he loved to pick and have fun. When my dad passed away last November, he was there for my mom to encourage her and they talked on the phone a lot. I so appreciate his encouragement for her and being a friend to her. My mom loved Vann. It still doesn’t seem real that he is gone. My mom and I had ate lunch with him earlier that week. Prayers for Vann’s family and friends in the days ahead, may the Lord give you all comfort and peace in the days ahead. We miss you Vann! â ¤ï¸

We’ll never forget you and Beth coming to Las Vegas, peppermill, flamingo, vegan food, Lily’s birthday. I’m so glad we chatted this summer, never knowing it would be the last time. Thank you for taking care of mom, Hazel Williams and Dad, JB, and my in laws, Leo and Dale Haigler during their passing. We surely loved you, Sheila, Jan, Austin, Ashley.

It’s been a long time since our days spent on the Wingate campus. Vann and I shared many hours in between classes holding down the student center, laughing and talking about our hopes for the future. He was a cherished friend and his presence will be missed.
