Tonya Long's Obituary
Mrs. Tonya Hildreth Long, age 53, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016, at her residence.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 28, 2016, at Union Baptist Church, 4312 Old Pageland Monroe Road, Monroe, NC, 28112, officiated by Reverend Tommy Moser and Reverend James Crowder.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday afternoon, prior to the funeral ceremony at Union Baptist Church.
Mrs. Long was born on April 27, 1962, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Hampton Edward Hildreth and Margaret LouDonnie Harper Hildreth. She was preceded in death by her brother Hampton Edward Hildreth, Jr., and her niece.
Mrs. Long worked for Carolinas Healthcare System as a referral coordinator and was also a human resources specialist.
Survivors include her husband Rick (Richard) Carlisle Long of the home; son Ryan Carlisle Long; daughter Hannah Brooke Long; stepson Kent Long; grandson Kadin Long; granddaughter Caylee Long; brother Worth Hildreth; and three sisters Tina Hildreth, Margaret Deese, and Linda Austin; there are four nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church Building Fund.
