Tommy Delroy Wilson's Obituary
Mr. Tommy D. Wilson, age 71, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at his residence.
Memorial Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Wilson will be 11 AM Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Light of Hope Church, 413 N Polk Street, Pineville, NC, 28134.
Mr. Wilson was born on July 15, 1943, in Christiansburg, Virginia, a son of the late Marvin Raleigh Wilson and Nellie Marie Stanley Wilson.
He graduated from Bluefield H.S. in 1961, and was a graduate of Bluefield State College in 1981, he had a B.S. Degree in Mining Engineering, he was the owner and operator of Alright Custom Striping.
He was also a US Marine Veteran.
Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by one son Thomas Ashley Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Lyn Fudge Wilson of Waxhaw, NC; two sisters, Kay Wilson Gialenios of Matthews, NC, and Virginia Wilson of Charlotte, NC ; two aunts Ruth Norman of Tazwell, VA, and Virginia Hagy and husband Glenn of Cedar Bluff, VA; two nieces Debra Fanning Phillips of Matthews, NC, and Pamela Fanning Godsil of Cave Creek, AZ; one nephew EJ Peninger II of Charlotte, NC; there are three grand nieces and many loving cousins; he also leaves behind his beloved dog Puggle Bear and his cat Miss Kitty .
