Tommie Poplin Eudy's Obituary
Tommie Poplin Eudy went to her Heavenly home on March 16, 2024 from the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Tommie was born January 18, 1934 to the late J Tom and Florence Poplin. She was married to Jimmy Eudy Sr. for 69 years before he preceded her in death in 2022.
Tommie enjoyed life. She liked to cook and dance. As long as her health permitted, she attended South Albemarle Baptist Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school.
Tommie is survived by one daughter, Theresa Dry and one son, Jimmy Eudy (Jan), two grandchildren, Tiffanie West and Hank Dry. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Camden and Aiden Putnam. She is survived by one sister, Evelyn Blake. Four sisters predeceased her, Apalonia Harwood, Mazelle Lawhon, Eloise Furr and Juanita Hopkins.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at South Albemarle Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 11:00 with Rev. Danny Laws officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 until 11 AM in the church sanctuary.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to South Albemarle Baptist Church 1005 S. Second Street Albemarle or Adoration Home Health 112 Charter Street C Albemarle.
