Willie Jones
I lost my father almost 6 years ago and through that experience led me to call Tim a friend, I had met Sam a few times before but really got to know him through his visitation with my dad and the phone calls and memories they shared of traveling and racing motocross throughout the southeast during the 70s and 80s. Those calls and time spent meant the world to my dad and in turn gave me an immense amount of respect for the Daytons. After my dads passing Sam and I have became great friends and through that I really got to know Tim, Our weekends spent at Muddy creek in the years that followed have been an unforgettable and cherished experience. This past year Tim's health was starting to turn and I could tell he was not well, but even with the below average heath Tim was still there and enjoying what he loved. I enjoyed our talks and hanging out at the campsite sharing our similar interests with our love of outdoors and racing. Tim and Sam's relationship was one that most people would be jealous of and I know Sam and family will cherish those memories forever. I remember Tim with that big smile he always carried and I am sure he is smiling down on his family now. My prayers are with the Dayton family. Revelation 21:4
