Thomas ""Tommy"" Charles Courtney's Obituary
Mr. Thomas " Tommy" Charles Courtney, age 60, of Pageland, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014, at CMC-Union.
A Service to Celebrate the Life of Tommy Courtney will be conducted at 7:00 PM Monday, September 15, 2014, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street.
Mr. Courtney was born on November 25, 1953, in Union County, North Carolina, a son of the late Charles Augustus Courtney and Emma Laney Courtney. He was married to the late Laura Elizabeth Taylor Courtney. He was also preceded in death by a brother, George W. Courtney.
He was self employed in the furniture construction business.
Survivors include two sons, Christopher C. Courtney and Misty of Pageland, South Carolina, and James Adam Courtney and Lawanda of Pageland, South Carolina; seven sisters, Ann Gaddy, Toni Ayers, Jill Watson, Robin Jenkins, Peggy Barwick, Brenda Harvell and Shirley Hatley.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday, September 15, 2014, prior to the funeral ceremony at Davis Funeral Home.
