Thomas Edward Gibson's Obituary
Mr. Thomas Edward Gibson, age 65, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away at Novant Health Center of Matthews on Monday, September 29, 2014.
Mr. Gibson was born October 3, 1948 in Rock Hill, South Carolina, son of the late Charles Wesley and Anne Mae Alexander Gibson, he was a retired self-employed truck driver.
Mr. Gibson was predeceased by his parents and a son, Chad Gibson.
Survivors include his wife, Terry Moss Gibson, and three sons Todd (Kay) Gibson of Monroe, Shannon Painter of Waxhaw, Nick (Kara) Painter of Monroe and daughter Angie Hunt of Denver, NC; three grandsons, Jordan Gibson, Wesley Payne, Zachary Gibson; nine granddaughters, Gracie Gibson, Rylee Painter, Brynlee Painter, Peyton Painter, Ashlyn Painter, Kelley Gibson, Kayla Trivette, Emma Gibson, and Hannah; one great-grandson, Camden; one great-granddaughter, Leigha Trivette; former wife Linda Gibson.
Funeral Services will be conducted by Reverends Ken Parsons and Dustin Knight on Friday, October 3 at 11 AM, the birthday of Mr. Gibson, in the chapel of Davis Funeral Home, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the funeral home.
