Terry James Ragsdale's Obituary
Terry James Ragsdale, 77, of Norwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday December 21, 2017 in Charlotte, NC. His funeral service will be 11 AM Wednesday December 27, 2017 in the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care Chapel of Albemarle, NC with Rev. Joe Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Stanly Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday December 26, 2017 at Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care.
Terry was born on December 11, 1940 in Albemarle, NC and was the son of the late James Franklin Ragsdale and Faye Ballard Ragsdale. He was a graduate of Albemarle High School and a Foreman with Rusco Fixture Company in Oakboro, NC. Mr. Ragsdale was a member of Congregational Christian Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Airforce.
Mr. Ragsdale is survived by a daughter Dawanna Lee Ragsdale (Scott Damewood) of Charlotte, NC, a brother John Criston Ragsdale of Albemarle, NC, two sisters Toby Ragsdale Efird of Albemarle, NC and Janie Ragsdale Torrence (Charles) of North Myrtle Beach, SC, a grandson Cody James Brown of Norwood, NC, and many nieces and nephews.
