Teresa Christine Roberson's Obituary
Teresa Christine Roberson, commonly known as “Nana”, 63, of Albemarle passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in her home. A memorial service to honor her life will be held on Friday June 11th, 2021 at 11 AM in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Loflin officiating.
Born July 22, 1957 in Stanly County, NC she was the daughter of the late Herbert Ray Roberson and Jeanette Hathcock Roberson. She was a member of Albemarle First Assembly and worked for many years as a CNA and Dietary Manager at Britthaven and Trinity Place as well as TLC and private in-home-care. Her girls and her grandkids were her life and made a point of attending all their life events. She was an avid Carolina Panther Fan and loved her dog Corky. She found joy in taking care of others.
She is survived by daughters Chassity Washburn and husband Jason of Oakboro and Melissa Williams and husband Shawn of Norwood, two sisters Terina Lathe of Charlotte and Janice Misenheimer of Albemarle, and two brothers Darrell Roberson of Albemarle and Ronald Roberson of Stanfield, four grandchildren, Hunter Williams, Zach Washburn, Hannah Washburn and Carter Williams, as well as two beloved nephews, Cody Lathe and Sam Lathe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stanly County Humane Society or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, www.pancan.org.
