Teresa Hill Bunting's Obituary
Teresa Hill Bunting, 93. of Albemarle, passed away Monday, September 25, 2023 at Atrium Health Stanly. Her funeral service will be 11am Friday, September 29, 2023 at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Delane Burris officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30am until 10:30am prior to the service at the church.
She was born May 29, 1930 in Stanly County, NC to the late John Robert Hill and Sara Corrina Snuggs Hill. She had formerly worked as a legal secretary with DD Smith, David Chambers, and Normon Singletary. Teresa was a member of Grace Baptist Church, serving as a Sunday School teacher with fifty years of service. She was always there for anyone who needed to talk and had a kind word, and biblical advice for everyone.
Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Clifford Bunting. She is survived by a son, Timothy Bunting and wife Lynn Howes of Newnan, GA; two granddaughters, Amelia Porter of Charlotte, NC and Hanah Bunting of Charleston, SC and many nieces and nephews. Teresa is also preceded in death by a son, Ronald Clifford Bunting and her brothers and sisters, John Hill, Mary Elizabeth Hill, Robert Hill, Al Hill, Don Hill, Polly Speight, Sarah Swan and Kay Riley.
