Teresa Gayle Talbert Blalock, 70, of Albemarle passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in the Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis.? Her funeral service will be 4 PM Friday, April 14th 2017 in Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Blake and Rev. Lee Church officiating.? Burial will follow in the church cemetery.? The family will receive friends in the church from 3 until 4 prior to the hour of the service.
Born March 2, 1947 in Cabarrus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Newton Talbert and Dorcas Seaford Talbert and was a homemaker. Teresa was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church where she taught the Adult Ladies Sunday School class while her health allowed and cared deeply for every member of her class. Other than being active in her church, she enjoyed crafts and reading.
Teresa is survived by her husband?Clyde Kelly Blalock, Jr. as well as her canine companion, Bella. Other survivors include one brother, Randall Talbert of Concord, NC and a number of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a sister, Darlene. The family wishes to express thanks to the special ladies who sat with her and showed her love, kindness, and caring.
