Teddy Wilson Bowers' Obituary
Teddy Wilson Bowers, 74, of New London passed away on April 12, 2023 in Atrium Health Stanly. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care on Friday April 14, 2023 at 2 PM.
Born October 4, 1948 in Stanly County, NC he was the son of the late Barney Wilson Bowers and Nara Lee Poplin Bowers. He was a plumber and the owner of his own plumbing company.
Mr. Bowers is survived by his wife Debra Herlocker Bowers of the home. Other survivors include 5 children, Rodney Wilson Bowers of Midland, Ava Bowers Crayton (Tim) of Stanfield, Stacy Bowers Sabol (Dean) of New London, Jeramy Ray Bowers (Beth) of New London, Joshua Steven Bowers (Tangy) of New London, sister-in-law Elvene "Toot" Bowers, 17 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Rev. Charles Bowers and a sister Barbara Ann Coble.
