Steven York Brawley's Obituary
Mr. Steven York Brawley, age 73, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013, at Monroe Manor.
Services to Celebrate the Life of Steven York Brawley will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, September September 29, 2013, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Sherry Frerichs.
Mr. Brawley was born on May 1, 1940, in Charleston, South Carolina, a son of the late John Williamson Brawley and Connie Jones Brawley.
He was a photographer and also a personal trainer with Enterprise Fitness Center.
Survivors include a his wife, Faye Johnson Brawley; two sons, Steven York Brawley II of PA and Todd Brawley and wife Dana Brawley of Wingate; two brothers, Mike Brawley and wife Jean Brawley of Charlotte, and Harry (Rocky) Lewis of Concord; a sister, Benet Cash and husband Jerry Cash of Charlotte.
There is a grandson, Brandon Sims.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM Sunday, prior to the ceremony at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe, 1003 East Franklin Street.
