Shirley H. Drye's Obituary
Shirley H. Drye, 81, of Oakboro passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Atrium Health Stanly. A celebration of life service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Shad Hicks.
Mrs. Drye was born June 20, 1940 in Stanly County to the late Paul Luther Hinson and Bertha Burris Hinson. Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed making sure everyone was taken care of no matter what it took.
Shirley is survived by her sons Paul C. Drye of Oakboro, NC and Scottie B. Drye (Ruth) of Zebulon, NC; grandchildren: Joy Lee of Kannapolis and Cameron Drye of Oakboro; great-grandchildren: Marley, Ashton, Brooke, Lila. She was preceded in death by her husband James B. Drye.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Drye family.
