Sherry Jenkins Strickland's Obituary
Mrs. Sherry Renee Jenkins Strickland passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Atrium Health Union.
A Celebration of Life for Sherry will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday in the Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC, 28112, officiated by Rev. Frank Crump.
Sherry was greatly loved. She was the most kind hearted woman that walked this earth. She would go out of her way to lend a helping hand. She loved her husband and her son Dustin. But the light in her life were here three grandchildren, Willow, Ryker, and Lola. She spent her days playing and laughing with them. Sherry will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends and she will never be forgotten.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Jackie and Bobbie Jenkins.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Darrell E. Strickland, her son, Dustin T. Strickland (Alex), her siblings; Sheila Mitchell (Michael), Debbie Brooks (Todd), Boyce Jenkins (Amanda), and Denise Jenkins Smith. Survivors also include 11 nephews and 1 niece, as well as 7 great-nieces and nephews.
