Sherry Deese Medlin's Obituary
Sherry Deese Medlin was born December 13, 1960 in Union County to the late Curtis Eugene Deese and Carolyn Aycoth Deese. The Lord took her home on June 16, 2025.
She is survived by her husband Tommy Medlin of Monroe, sons Brian Medlin and wife Lisa, Bobby Medlin and wife Brittney, Kenneth Medlin, Tyler Medlin and wife Jazmine, Timothy Medlin, daughter Heather Medlin, brother Jimmy Deese and wife Teresa, nephew Joey Deese and wife Katie, niece Kathy Deese, granddaughters Allison Laney, Aubrey Medlin, Bridgette Medlin, grandsons Liam Medlin, Walter Medlin, Dalton Medlin and wife Morgan, great-grandsons Wilder Medlin, Josiah Laney, Eli Laney, Rylan Laney, great-granddaughters Amara Laney and Sariah Laney, as well as many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by two grandsons Henry Medlin and Jeremiah Medlin.
A pot luck meal will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Why Not An American Ark in The Pearl Building, 1106 Charlie Williams Road, Monroe, NC 28112. The family requests those attending to dress casually.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude’s at www.stjude.org or to the Shriners Hospitals for Children at www.shrinerschildrens.org.
