Sherrill Edwin Drye, 77, of Albemarle passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in Atrium Health Stanly. His memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, January 12, 2020 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carroll Flack Read Obituary
We will all miss Sherrill very much. He was a very good person and was kind and considerate of others. I have many memories of him.
Sherrill was a wonderful man and friend. He was always so happy ready with a smile or laugh . H was a good man, more he was a gentleman. He will be greatly missed by all of Palestine. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Betty and family.

I have known Sherrill my whole life and I sure am going to miss seeing him at church. He was such a hoot!!! 😁 He sure did love his family and friends, but most of all his Betty. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Betty and the rest of the family.
I have so many happy memories of growing up with Sherrill as our next-door neighbor. He was so good to my family and I will cherish the memories always.
