I never had a better teacher!
I was lucky enough to have her as a teacher two different times, in 7th and 8th grade. Then I was truly blessed to have her as my neighbor. Thank the Lord for the Shelva Jeans in this world. God didn't make many. Each is a true treasure.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
She was my North Carolina history teacher. I never forgot how she made history so interesting. I still have my North Carolina project after 50 plus years.
She was such a sweet lady and so kind to my parents while they were living. Daphine, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Miss Pickler was a wonderful and caring teacher. Always loved her and thought of her a lot. She introduced me to peacock blue ink while in school.
She was such a sweet lady. She will be missed. Praying for Daphne and my step dad Tim Harwood. They are cousins.
She was a Great Teacher. I remember sitting in the Front Corner room of the School Now. She held my attention. That is saying alot for me...lol Prayers for her family during this time and in the future.
Praying for the family. My sister and I were members of the Joy Makers many years ago. Lots of wonderful memories singing with Miss Shelva Jean. I know heavens Choir is praising His name with her in attendance.
