Shelia Brooks McManus' Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce that Shelia Ann Brooks McManus, 71, of Concord was called home on October 24, 2023, at Atrium Health Cabarrus.
Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Shelia was born August 7, 1952. She graduated from Piedmont High School in Monroe, North Carolina in 1971. Shelia was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and her grandchildren.
She is preceded by husband, Bernard F. McManus, father, Perry N. Brooks, mother, Mary Jewel Kennedy Brooks, and brother Robert Edwards.
She leaves behind sons, Brian McManus (Keri) of Raleigh, and Jason McManus of Concord; grandchildren, Lukus, Aiden and Grant; brother, Dennis Brooks (Libby) of Monroe; a sister, Theresa Brooks Scott (Scottie) of New Salem and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be November 11, 2023, at Clear Creek Baptist Cemetery, 9015 Ferguson Road Charlotte, NC 28227 at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to, The American Heart Association.
