Sorry to learn of Shelias passing.if ever there was a true nurse, Shelia was one! Shelia was such a great role model. She was calm and steady but firm and decisive when she needed to be. I began my career at Stanly Memorial in 1981 and i learned s lot from Shelia. Her legacy will continue in the hearts of a lots of us !
This is very sad news Shelia was a wonderful person she worked with my mother for years and also taught me several things about nursing and the medical field. She was a dear friend to my mother always and also like a aunt to me Lord knows this hits hard I will miss her but I know my mother will miss her friend. I can remember Shelia calling for my mother calling Jean Jean Jean and my mother would have something. Smart to say back memories. I can also remember her chasing me around the table to give me a shot .....rest in peace my dear friend we will meet again I cab remember her coming down to er every time my mother father or me was ever there to make sure we was okay I'm in tears on this she was always like a second Mom to me Lord knows the old crew from the medical center
