Shana Nicole Baucom's Obituary
Mrs. Shana Starnes Baucom, age 37, of Oakboro, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017, at Carolinas Healthcare System - Northeast.
Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 5, 2017, at the Davis Funeral Chapel, officiated by Reverend Rob Washington and Reverend Gene Hopkins.
Mrs. Baucom was born on October 13, 1980, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of Sherrill Taylor Williams and the late David Reid Starnes. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Frank "Reid" Starnes, her maternal grandfather William "Bill" Taylor,
Survivors include her husband, Joshua Baucom of Oakboro; her son, Logan Drake McMahan of Pageland, SC; her daughter, Erica Breann McMahan of Mint Hill; her mother, Sherrill Taylor Williams and her husband, Mike of Wadesboro; her sister, Britney Amanda Smith of Wadesboro; her paternal grandmother, Bernice Starnes of Monroe; her maternal grandmother, Joyce W. Taylor of Wadesboro; grandparents, Gene and Ruth Hopkins of Oakboro. There are three nephews and two nieces.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 5, 2017, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home at 1003 East Franklin Street in Monroe two hours prior to the service.
