Sarah Dean Tucker, age 73, of Wingate, NC, passed away Tuesday April 9, 2013 at CMC-Union in Monroe, NC
A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Sarah D. Tucker will be conducted at 1:00 PM Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Davis Funeral Home, 1003 East Franklin St. Monroe, NC 28112.
The family will greet friends at that time.
Sarah was predeceased by her parents, Rexie Dean Woody and Alma Gardner Woody; brothers Frank York, Earl Gardner, and Jimmy Gardner, her sister Helen York, and two children, Donald Ray Tucker and Patsy Dean Tucker.
She is survived by two daughters, Polly Mills and husband Mark of Wingate, NC, and Peggy Brockman of Charleston, SC, sisters, Maxine Measimer, Grace Ashbury, Frances McLemore, Kathryn McFarland, Carolyn Capps, and Wanda Russ; her two grandchildren, Tanya Bailey and husband Michael of Raleigh, NC and Daniel Brockman of Charleston, SC., and Happy, her loving poodle.
Sarah was a passionate gardner. She loved working with flowers and enjoyed the outdoors.
