Sarah Virginia Hasty's Obituary
Mrs. Sarah Virginia Yarbrough Hasty, age 81, of Wingate, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at CMC-Union.
Graveside Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Hasty will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, March 13, 2015, at Wingate City Cemetery weather permitting.
If inclement conditions persist there will be a service in the Davis Funeral Service Chapel at 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC, 28112.
Mrs. Hasty was born on November 29, 1933, in Union County, North Carolina, daughter of the late John B. Yarbrough and Alma Medlin Yarbrough.
She was a production worker at Paul Hoge Candle Factory.
Survivors include her husband Herbert C. Hasty Sr. of Wingate, NC; one sister Betty Y. Stegall and husband Elwyn grandchildren Trey Hasty and wife Casey and Michael Hasty both of West Virginia; and six great grandchildren..
