Sandra Kay McIntyre's Obituary
Sandra Kay McIntyre, 68, of Locust passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Atrium Health Care & Hospice in Monroe. Her funeral will be Wednesday, May 27 at First Baptist Church of Locust at 2 PM with Dr. Kinney Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 8 PM Tuesday at Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care, 501 N. Central Ave. Locust, NC 28097. Burial will follow the service Wednesday at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church in Stanfield.
Born December 28, 1951 in Cabarrus County, Sandra was the daughter of the late Billy Joe Hartsell and the late Victoria Juanita Stancil Hartsell. She was a graduate of Central Cabarrus High School and a member of New Hope Freewill Independent Baptist. Sandra enjoyed the beach and browsing yard sales. She cherished the relationships she shared with her family and church family.
Sandra is survived by her son, Steven Smith (Melissa) of Locust, grandchildren, Riley, Hunter, Trevor, and Kadien Smith, and brother, Bennie Hartsell of Stanfield. She is preceded in death by her husband, Danny Smith, sons, Chris (Christine) and Keith Smith.Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care of Locust is serving the McIntyre family.
