Sandra Lugene Gunn Burgess, 59, of Monroe, NC died September 25, 2015 at Carolina Medical Center, Pineville.
A native of Lancaster, SC. she was daughter of the late Dennis Lugene Gunn and Rotha Lee Gunn, and a seamstress.
Survivors include two sons; Shane Burgess (Kerri) and Chad Burgess of Mineral Springs, NC. Additional survivors include 2 brothers: Jimmy Gunn of Mineral Springs, Mark Gunn of Wingate and a sister Ellen Brown of Waxhaw. There are 5 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 5, 2015 from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Davis Funeral Service, 1003 East Franklin St. Monroe, NC, 28112. An online guest register is available at www.davisfuneralservice.com.
