Ryan James Wilhelm, 44, of Albemarle passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. His funeral service will be 2 PM on Friday, February 12, 2021 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel in Albemarle with Rev. Rick Clough and Rev. Nina Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory. His body will lie in state at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle on Friday from Noon until 1:30 PM.Born July 24, 1976 in Stanly County, NC he was the son of James C. Jim Wilhelm Jr. and Barbara Morris Wilhem of Albemarle. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church and former assistant grocery manager with Food Lion.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiance' April Hinson of the home, three children: Sydney Wilhelm and Lilly-Ann Wilhelm of the home and Shelby Coe of New London, two grandchildren Emma and Ava Coe, sister Erin Bowers (Jeremy) of Albemarle, three nieces Mary Beth, Lainey, and Grace and nephew Maddox.Memorials may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 2411 US Hwy 52 N., Albemarle, NC 28001.
