Ryan E. Berthold's Obituary
Mr. Ryan E. Berthold, age 36, of Waxhaw, NC, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, October 30, at CMC-Union.
Service arrangements are underway and additional information will be provided on Ryan's memorial service when details are available.
Ryan was born March 24, 1982, in Lynn, Massachusetts, a son of Joseph Berthold and Kathleen Pecoraro Berthold. Throughout his life, Ryan was an animal lover, and his love for his four legged friends inspired him to work as a clerk in a pet store. Ryan enjoyed movies, especially Back to the Future, which led to naming his best friend and new puppy, "McFly". He also loved baseball, and was a huge Boston Red Sox fan.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Robert and Kathleen Berthold of Waxhaw, NC, and a sister, Mollie Cathleen Berthold, of Waxhaw, NC. Survivors also include numerous cousins, and his best friend McFly.
Ryan is preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Michael Berthold.
