Byrum Winchester, 91, of Stanfield, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at
her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Winchester will be held at 11am on Tuesday,
October 15, 2019 at Loves Grove United Methodist Church in Stanfield with Rev.
Jim White officiating. Visitation will be held from 10-11am prior to the
service at the church. Burial will follow at Harrison United Methodist Church
in Pineville at 2pm.
Born October
7, 1928 in Guilford County, Ruth was the daughter of the late Blanche Smoot
Byrum and Olin Steele Byrum. She was a member at Loves Grove United Methodist
Church.
Mrs.
Winchester is survived by her daughters Pamela Morgan (Larry) of Lexington, and
Fran Robinson of Stanfield; son-in-law George Lepper of Stanfield; 9
grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother Harold
Byrum of Belmont; sister Muriel Yarborough of Jefferson, SC. She is preceded in
death by her husband Thomas Jerry Winchester; daughter Deborah Lepper; brothers
Horace Byrum and Olin Byrum, Jr.
