Russell Herbert Jennings II, 73, of Albemarle passed away September 8, 2021 in Atrium Health Stanly.
Russ is predeceased by his wife Alyce Kay Jennings, father Herbert Chandler Jennings, mother Olive Grace Jennings, and step-son Vincent Clark Durrett.
Russ is lovingly remembered by his sister Linda Gail Jennings (Kirby Jones) of Fountain Hills, AZ, Carol Anne Jennings (Jim Anderson) of Millersville, MD, Sally Dilger (Dan Kovalsky) of Landisville, PA, step-mother Stephanie Jennings of Wilmington, NC and step-daughter Lynn Durrett of Albemarle, NC.
Russ was born in Los Angeles, CA on July 23, 1948. He graduated from Chagrin Falls High School in 1966. He served in the military in the early 70's during the Vietnam Conflict He enjoyed reading, old movies, and his cats.
