As a co-worker of Ruby's at Stanly Community College, I just want the family to know how sad we are that you have lost such a beautiful person. Dwain, Charlie, Jeff, and other family members. Ruby was truly a one of a kind person and can never be replaced. Ruby was a special lady that truly enjoyed people and her job at SCC. In the short time that I worked with Ruby I had grown to love her just like a family member. Each day was different and you never knew what Ruby was going to say that would have you in stitches laughing at her. Work without Ruby isn't the same. I am so sorry for your loss and hope that in the days to come you find comfort in knowing that Ruby is with you in spirit and that we all will see her one day soon!
Ruby was one of a kind. I love meeting her and getting to know her at SCC. She has a heart of gold and she really loved the people she waited on in the SCC café. I am so sorry for the lost of this great and generous lady. She kept us laughing with her stories and her personality. She will be missed for her smile, laughter, heart and the best eggs ever made .
