Ruby Tomberflin's Obituary
Mrs. Ruby Webb Tomberlin, age 87, was born September 11, 1927 in Union County, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at her residence. A daughter of the late General Franklin Webb and Estelle Edwards Webb, she was the former owner of Tomberlin Automotive.
Survivors include a sister, Clara Taylor, a brother-in-law Joel Smith and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tomberlin was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Haynes Kenneth Tomberlin, and two sons, Reece Kenneth Tomberlin and Cecil Max Tomberlin.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tomberlin, conducted by Dr. David Richardson, will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Faulks Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Wingate City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Faulks Baptist Church Building Fund.
