Rose Violet Fugazzi's Obituary
Mrs. Rose Violet Fortini Fugazzi, age 89, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at her residence.
Funeral Mass was conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday morning, September 7, 2013, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Monroe, officiated by Father Benjamin Roberts. Interment followed in Suncrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Fugazzi was born on February 15, 1924, in Fallen Timber, PA, a daughter of the late Anthony Fortini and Palmieri Francisco Fortini.
She was a retired machine shop inspector.
Survivors include her niece, Noreen Stivaletti and husband, Michael, of Monroe; her grand-niece, Lisa Betar and husband, Tom, of Monroe; her grand-nephew, Michael Stivalette and wife, Mer, of Monroe; her grand-niece, Tif Betar of Monroe; and her brother-in-law, Jim Materaso of Monroe. She is also survived by great-nieces.
