Ronald Carrol Foster's Obituary
Ronald Carrol Foster, 81, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 in his home. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, August 24, 2015 at First Assembly with Pastor Bob Gruver and Pastor George Mullen officiating. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at First Assembly on Monday from 2:30 until 3:30 prior to the service.
Born June 18, 1934 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of the late John Mansfield Foster and Effie Howard Foster and was a retired textile worker. He was a member of First Assembly and he enjoyed golf, fishing and being with his family. Mr. Foster is survived by his wife Brenda James Foster of the home. Other survivors include son Richard Foster and wife Patty of Albemarle, daughter Carol Jo Benoy and husband Jack of Albemarle, step-daughter Misty Vaughn and husband Steve of Locust, brother James ?Jake? Foster of Albemarle, sister Geraldine Burleson of Albemarle, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
