Ronald Conrad Burris' Obituary
Ronald Conrad Burris, 81, of Albemarle passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 in his home. His funeral service will be at 2 PM on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Canton Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle from 6 until 8 PM.
Born December 4, 1942 in Cabarrus County, NC he was the son of the late John Ellis Burris and Elmira Furr Burris. He was a member of Canton Baptist Church and retired from Stanly Knitting Mills. He was a past Deacon at Canton Baptist Church.
Mr. Burris was preceded in death by his wife Diann Hathcock Burris in 2018 and a sister Joyce Burris in 2014. He is survived by two children Angela Burris Parsons (Jamie) of Troy and Jennifer Burris Smith (Jonathan) of Albemarle, and four grandchildren Casey Blalock, Daniel Smith, Chastity Blalock, and Jacob Smith.
