Ronald Richard Alamond's Obituary
Mr. Ronald Richard Alamond, age 73, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, April 14 , 2013, at his residence.
Friends of the family are invited to attend a Home Visitation, Wednesday evening at the Alamond residence, 3211 Old Camden Rd., Monroe, NC 28110.
Mr. Alamond was born on April 30, 1939, in Utica, New York a son of the late Phillip Alamond and Pearl Odekirk Alamond. Mr. Alamond was also predeceased by his brothers, Claude Alamond and Ernie Alamond.
He was a truck driver, hauling freight anywhere needed in the country. He loved music and was an accomplished guitarist as well as fiddle player and violinist.
Survivors include his brother, Ted Alamond of New York; his son, Michael Phillip Alamond, Sr of Monroe, NC and daughter, Kathleen Wheelock of New York; and his grandson, Michael Phillip Alamond, Jr. of Monroe, NC,
Graveside Services will be private.
