Roma Vadine Smith's Obituary
Roma Vadine Gay Smith, 92, of Monroe passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 in the Union County Hospice House. Her graveside service will be at 11 AM on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Lakeland Memorial Park with Pastor Douglas Rumley officiating.
Born July 21, 1932 in Union County, NC she was the daughter of the late Raymond Gay and Alma Stack Gay. She was a retired employee of Photo Corporation of America and a member of the First Baptist Church of Indian Trail.
She was preceded in death by her husband Olin Smith in 2002. She is survived by sons Ronnie Douglas Smith of Monroe, Rodney Smith of Albemarle, Timothy Dwayne Smith of Monroe, six grandchildren, and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son David Olin Smith and by seven siblings.
