Roger Lee Kimrey's Obituary
Roger Lee Kimrey, 72, of Albemarle, passed away Friday April 17, 2020 at Atrium Health Stanly. There will be a memorial service for the family at a later date.
Mr. Kimrey was born December 2, 1947 in Stanly County, NC and was the son of the late Oscar Lee Kimrey and Idell Carpenter Kimrey. He was a retired employee of Rand and BRS Construction in Richfield, NC, with 43 years of service. Mr. Kimrey was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Mr. Kimrey was a hard worker and he loved his car collection.
Roger is survived by his wife Sue Kimrey of the home. He is survived by two daughters, Ginger Hatley husband Jerrod and Lisa Morgan and husband Joe all of Albemarle, NC and four grandchildren, Daniel Hatley, Kadie Morgan, Abby Hatley and Kinley Morgan. Mr. Kimrey was also preceded in death by a son, Stacy Lee Kimrey.
Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 644 Edgemont Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
